Voter Registration

Are you registered to vote? If so, is your registration status active? 

Please make sure your name is not one of the more than 1 million Texans who have been purged from the state’s voter rolls at Am I Registered?

Can you register to vote? Do you meet these qualifications? 

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Be 18 years or older on election day
  • A resident of the county where your voter registration application will be submitted
  • If you have a felony conviction your punishment must be complete. This includes your sentence, parole, or probation
  • A court of law must not have declared you mentally incapacitated.

How To Register to Vote? 

Texas is NOT an online voting state, but you can complete the required information here: 

  1. Complete Voter Registration Application  
  2. Print & sign it 
  3. MOST IMPORTANT STEP-MAIL IT to your county election office
